Located in a very exclusive and secure community of only 6 villas in the heart of the Terres Basses, Escapade offers exceptional views of Simpson Bay, the sparkling Caribbean Sea and the islands of Saba, St Eustatius and St. Kitts.  While its location and exposure make the best use of the refreshing trade winds during the day, its unique tropical garden steals the show at night. The residence enjoys the use of a shared marina and tennis court.

The main room includes four different sections: a large dining area, a comfortable sitting area with Satellite TV and DVD player, a bridge table, and a casual sitting area with panoramic views. The modern, well equipped kitchen features a pool-side bar and water views. It connects to a lovely breakfast/dinner area opening onto the tropical garden.

Escapade boasts four bedrooms each with a very large private shower and bath, A/C and ceiling fans. Three of the bedrooms in the main house open directly on the pool. The master bedroom features a king bed and a large bathroom with enclosed garden and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has twin beds (convertible into king), with en-suite bathroom featuring a smaller garden and walk-in closet. The third bedroom has twin beds (convertible into king), with en-suite bathroom and expansive views. The fourth bedroom is located below the main floor, and accessible via an exterior staircase. It has twin beds, a large bathroom, and a private balcony with superb lagoon views.

Escapade is a 10 minute’s drive away from Marigot, 5 minutes to the nearest grocery store, and 3 minutes to the beach.

ABOUT ST. MARTIN/ST. MAARTEN:

St. Martin (the French side) is known for its beautiful beaches, clothing stores, shopping, and rich French and Caribbean cuisine.  The official language is French, but English is commonly spoken.  The Dutch side (St. Maarten) is known for its festive nightlife, casinos, and jewelry stores.  The official language is Dutch and English.  This all adds up to a tale of two nations that offer the best of both worlds ... activity and leisure.
  
Terres Basses (French for Lowlands) is located at the westernmost end of the island beyond the Simpson Bay Lagoon. It is home to some of the most exclusive villas on the island and features two of St. Martin's prettiest beaches at Plum Bay, Baie Rouge, and Long Bay.
  
The capital city of Marigot is perhaps the most French in spirit of all the cities in the Caribbean. Colonial houses stand beside smart cafes and bistros, pastry shops and luxury boutiques, and in many ways it looks just like any of the French market towns you might expect to find on the Continent. Visitors can enjoy a newly built shopping center at the foot of Fort St. Louis, with luxurious boutiques. At the southern end of town down by the harbor is the Marina Port la Royale, elegant stores with the latest in European designer fashions and fine jewelry, all free of tax. The official currency on the French side is the euro.  However, every store on the island also accepts the United States dollar. The entire city is only four streets wide, so it is very easy to get around.
  
St. Maarten’s (the Dutch side) Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) is served by Air Caraibes, Air France, American Airlines, Air Transat, BWIA, Continental, Corsair, Delta, Dutch Caribbean, Jet Blue, KLM, Liat, United Airline, and US Airway.  There is also a small airport on the French side (St. Martin) of the island at Grand Case, Lâ Esperance Airport, for small jet and propeller planes serving neighboring Caribbean islands.
