Another nice diversion before your evening meal could be the lovely walk up to the Grimaud castle ruins where the most striking sunsets will capture your imagination.

The twice weekly market in St Tropez is another reason to visit this renowned fishing town whose original charm has survived its celebrity glamour. Here you can browse the stalls in search for the best bargain or just savour the local specialities as you plan your dinner al fresco under your own private terrace with sea view. Other attractive villages worth visiting during your stay on the French Riviera include La Garde Freinet and Plan de la Tour, both full of character and charm.
