Luxury secluded south of France villa - This very comfortable villa is set in the midst of the beautiful wooded hills of the Var and is surrounded by rivers and vineyards, but is just 10 miles from St Tropez. If you're looking for real privacy and tranquillity but want to be within easy reach of charming hilltop towns and Riviera beaches, Villa Libellule may be just the place for you.

All accommodation is on the ground floor, arranged around the charming internal courtyard and the stunning pool with its south-facing sunbathing deck. There is flexibility in the living arrangements here - three bedrooms and a sitting room are located at one end of the villa by the pool and can form a self-contained annex: large glass doors can be closed off for privacy or quiet relaxation when required, or opened up to make the entire villa into one continuous space.

You can walk from the villa down a country lane, past vineyards, to the boulangerie in the village: it takes about half an hour on foot, or three minutes in the car! The village also has a minimarket store, as well as a well-known restaurant - L'Auberge de la Mole - which has an extremely good reputation: people travel for miles just to eat here, so do book in advance. Slightly further away is the village of Cogolin where you will find a large supermarket, banks and a chemist. You'll find excellent beaches and beach clubs at Rayol and Pampelonne, and St Tropez is always worth a visit: the old town around the harbour is charming and the markets on Place des Lices on Tuesday and Saturday mornings are full of atmosphere!
