Emperor's Luxury Terrace, Kensington & Chelsea, London, England Vacation Rental

While, as far we know, no emporer ever called Emporer's Gate home, this exclusive run of flat-fronted Victorian houses in South Kensington has just been refurbished to the exalted standard implied by the name. No expense has been spared on the interior of this lavish one-bedroom apartment that sports advanced home technology married to superb interior design style. The elegant, period facade does little to prepare you for the light, contemporary aesthetic that awaits you at the exit from the elevator. Recessed lighting, stripped wood floors, a subtle cream palette, superb fixtures and fittings give the place a 6-star hotel vibe. But what hotel room - even a penthouse - offers a vast terrace with space for you and four friends to sunbathe, dine and barbecue on the rooftops of South Ken? Air conditioned for summer, with underfloor heating for the rest of the year, designer furniture and light and air are all yours. There is even space to sleep four if required.
