An original farm house dating from 1867 the property has been transformed into a truly impressive alpine home. Many of the original features have been retained and the chalet makes use of the original wooden beams and panelling of the building. Sumptuous fabrics, contemporary furnishings, sculptures and art have been combined with aged woods, natural stones and traditional features to create a very comfortable and chic property.

Sleeping 14 people in 7 en-suite bedrooms the chalet is set out over three floors and boasts an extensive and sophisticated living area and separate dining room seating up to 18 guests, perfect for entertaining. The chalet has a further open plan breakfast room and 2nd living area as well as a cinema room, small gym, sauna and outdoor hot tub.

The top floor of the property houses the living area, master bedroom with impressive en-suite bathroom and dressing room and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

The main entrance on the chalet is located on the ground floor where a further three en-suite bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin), the open plan kitchen and second living room, guest toilet, ski and boot room and the dining room (seating 18) are all located. A second winter entrance takes you directly into the ski and boot room (with boot heaters). The cedar hot tub is sunken into the stepped terraces to the side of the chalet accessed from the living area.

The lower floor has a further two en-suite bedrooms, a laundry room and cinema room. A further room is dedicated to a small gym and sauna.

The chalet has exterior parking for 2 vehicles and interior parking for 1 vehicle in the garage.

Less than a 10-minute drive from the iconic centre of Gstaad, Chalet Lottie’s secluded position is perfect for someone seeking a high degree of privacy and security. Nestling in the traditional farmland, above the exclusive hamlet of Lauenen it provides breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The Lauenen village has remained its authenticity of an alpine farming community, all the building are in the traditional wooden chalet style. The village offers a choice of three charming restaurants, offering the local fare, obviously including cheese fondue, raclette and roesti.

A walk to the beautiful Lauenensee (lake) is a must, stunning views of waterfalls and forests. In the winter you can be taken there by romantic horse drawn carriage. Thoughtout the valley are many miles of hiking and mountain biking paths. Some of the best ski touring or snow-shoe trips are to be found on the hillsides here. Lauenen has its own ski lift for beginner and medium skiers.
