A gourmet kitchen features a see through to the outside gas fireplace (first in Maine), all new top of the line Electrolux appliances, bar refrigerator and wine cooler. Dual Fuel Range, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, all fully equipped allowing the chef on vacation to enjoy cooking with a view and all the comforts of home. The breakfast nook overlooking Chick’s Cove is a bright airy setting for morning coffee, while the front wraparound porch begs for afternoon tea or cocktails watching the boats pass by and the sunset.

Summer Cottage’s formal dining room, full living room with Cable TV featuring surround sound, and separate Sunset Lounge with a Wi-Fi computer station, are all professionally decorated for your comfort and every room offers water views.

On the upper two floors are 4 bedrooms including the new Captain's Quarters two room suite (so can be marketed as a 5 bedroom). There and 3 baths including the top floor Presidential Suite featuring a fireplace, King Bed and a magnificent en suite tile master bath with walk in shower and river views. You are less than a half mile to Dock Square with its unique boutique shops and restaurants. Walking a half a mile along Ocean Ave in the other direction, you arrive at the Beach and the Breakwater that leads to the Atlantic. Also along the way are a Day Spa and Gym, waterfront restaurants and pubs with entertainment. A scenic one mile walk along Parson’s Way leads you passed magnificent seaside mansions to famous Walkers Point (home of President George Bush).

There are so many fun things to “sea” and do. You can walk to town, to Dock Square and to a nearby Colony Beach. If you like to fish, the Breakwater at the head of the Kennebunk River is the place to drop a hook. It’s a short drive or a trolley ride to area beaches like Kennebunk Beach, Mother’s Beach and Goose Rocks Beach.

Shopper will love browsing the quaint boutiques in downtown Dock Square, while water lovers will want to take to the seas on a whale watch or set sail on a scenic schooner. Families enjoy the scenic lobster boats tours where you will see seals and haul traps looking for the daily catch of lobsters. Bike rentals are available in town, kayaks and canoes too. Golfers will find several Championship Golf courses nearby including Webhannet and Cape Arundel Golf Club - where President Bush plays. An Executive Par 3 course and driving range are available at Hillcrest Golf for family fun.
