100 years ago this ranch land changed hands, leaving the few remaining members of the local Pojoaque Pueblo, and into the hands of one of the wealthiest families in America. You will see the vestiges of this wealth on the grounds and in the beautiful structures and water features throughout. Yet, in the 90 years since, the people of Pojoaque Pueblo have emerged much like the phoenix, proud and strong and ready to take their place in the pantheon of the American experience.

Today’s La Mesita Ranch is the best of both worlds. As a venue for a vacation, a family reunion, wedding, get-together, or even a business trip, you will find every comfort and amenity available to make your stay luxurious and care-free. As a destination in the heart of Native America and at the core of its’ resurgence, you may experience a feeling that you have long been missing!

The Grand Hacienda (8 Bedroom / 7 bath) - this is the largest of the residences on the estate. It is sophisticated, historic, and luxurious. Featuring 5 fireplaces, a “great room”, a steam room, a library, massage room, formal dining room, informal dining room, Butler’s pantry, with washer dryer, and beautiful courtyards.

Barranca Cottage (2 bedroom / 2 bath) (one king bed and two full-size beds) - Offers stunning views of the red rock Barranca Mountains, cozy patio and outdoor fountain, and only steps away from the Grande Hacienda.

Accommodations:

Badlands Cottage (1 bedroom / 2 bath) - The Cottage features one large bedroom with a king-sized bed. There are two full bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room with fireplace. The Cottage also features modern Native American art and décor from the esteemed artists of Pojoaque. This cottage also features a large covered wraparound portal that can host 40 – 50 guests for cocktails or a seated dinner, and a lovely flagstone patio overlooking the pool and Mountain range and surrounded by a beautiful manicured lawn.

Ristra Cottage (1bedroom / 2 bath) is the first cottage you'll see on the property. Its pitched red roof is what you might notice initially, but its close location to the equestrian center is what makes it so special. All of the horses must pass by Ristra Cottage on their way to the upper stables and pastures, and on their way to the Main Stable. Your guests that especially love horses will have an amazing experience while residing at Ristra.

Ristra Cottage features one very large bedroom with a couch, desk and two king-sized beds. There are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy, modern living room with a fireplace.

Ristra offers wonderful outdoor space as well. There is a flagstone patio with table and chairs that in the warmer months features an explosion of red and pink roses and indigenous flowers. It's also the perfect viewing spot for watching the horses and their trainers while you enjoy your morning coffee.
